Our Location

Alder Lane Farm is located in beautiful Sonoma County, approximately one hour north of San Francisco, and just a few minutes off Highway 101.

Our gorgeous views, delightful climate, and proximity to the California Coastline make Sonoma County a premier destination for travelers from all over the world.  In Cotati (where we are situated), the summers are truly perfect, ranging in the mid-80’s, with a cooling sea breeze in the evenings. We experience rainfall in the winter, but the temperatures remain relatively mild.

Alder Lane Farm offers acres of private tranquility, yet is surrounded by award-winning wineries, world-class dining, tantalizing spas, upscale accommodations, and a cosmopolitan artistic culture.  Additionally, you’ll find an abundance of shopping choices, from quaint antique shops to designer outlets.

Alder Lane Farm is accessible from two major airports, Oakland and San Francisco International. Transportation from either airport is easily arranged by shuttle or car rental. Even more convenience is coming soon: Starting on March 20, 2007, the Sonoma County Airport will provide nonstop service to Los Angeles and Seattle, according to a recent Airport press release.

Our Facility

Amenities

Alder Lane Farm is a first class equestrian facility with plenty of arenas, rings, and turnouts.

Our huge indoor arena is perfect for year-round horse and rider training. We also offer an outdoor Hunter Arena and an outdoor Grand Prix ring. Courses can be designed for all levels of competition – and our excellent footing facilitates perfect landings.

We also have three lunging rings – and will soon have a covered Eurociser.

Accommodations

Alder Lane Farm provides superior care for each of our equine athletes!

All three of our barns have been newly renovated and are state-of-the-art, featuring hot and cold water in the wash racks, as well as immaculate grooming areas and tack rooms.

Our airy, oversized stalls are cleaned daily and bedded with shavings. Most of the stalls have attached runs. Horses are fed three times a day, and also enjoy multiple acres of turnouts during their leisure time.

Alder Lane Farm is always safe and secure under the watchful eyes of our caretakers, who live on the premises in comfortable homes near the barns.
